 Church HistorySpirit Song Church was founded in 1999 by Larry and Nadine Hernandez. After many years of ministry in California, they heard God's call to come to Washington State. Three years later, after much prayer and seeking God's direction, the church was established. At its very beginning, the church consisted of only three couples. It has grown both in size and scope.
Spirit Song is an non-denominational, multicultural fellowship.
Spirit Song is a
non-profit church corporation through the state of Washington. The church
has an established Corporate Board of Officers, appointed
elders and leadership. We believe that accountability is imperative for the
survival of any church fellowship, thus, Spirit Song Church has adopted a
Pastoral Advisory Committee of local pastors to provide accountability.
The Beginnings of Spirit Song Church
In October of 1996, Pastors Larry and Nadine sensed
God calling them to the Pacific Northwest. Saying goodbye to their family,
friends and home church, Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, they moved to Kitsap
County. Three years later, through the work of the Holy Spirit, they founded
the fellowship. With tender and compassionate hearts, Pastors Larry and
Nadine seek to care, feed (make disciples for Christ), and love their flock.
